I am finding that out, it's going into the shop tomorrow as the motor is still under warranty but I am sure the guages are not covered. I think it is a voltage regulator.

Ok I was think to of getting it load checked. I will do that first and go from there. Thanks
hook up a different battery and try it. If the battery has bad cells then it can cause a high voltage and affect the guage as you see it. If a different battery does change things then the problem is deeper.
