its a sun fish! Lucky you to have seen such a thing look it up on the net. They can get to 9ft tall. I have never seen one and didn't know that they were in our back yard VERY COOL STUFF!!
Is this a "new" boat or just new to you? there was a time that SAE30 was used in the gas and I can remember seeing the lables as you describe. But these are very old motors. Not even the new 4 strokes use plain SAE30 especially in the gas as a mix.

It should make for a nice upcoming boating weekend. Hopefully my boat will be ready to go, it's currently one the trailer and one the way for some engine work. 100 hour service plus some!!

Eustis Marina is a short distance from my home. I met owners of E.Marina about a year ago, Husband/Wife team if I'm not mistaken. Very nice people, I wish them the best during these hard economic times.

Phin, and a couple of misses, but this last Sat the water was hot (up to
91 1/2deg), and all we caught in the afternoon trolling was the 1 Phin, the
second the bait hit the water, and then Cuda the rest of the day.

How about this weather? A week of high sea's, high wind, and little good fishing.
We did fish however, and catch fish, though we spent a lot more time hunting than
catching. With smallcraft advisories up we knew heading out was off limits, not

The problem is the fuel in the engine more than the fuel in the tank. It can turn to varnish over time. Can you shutoff a valve between the tank and the engine? If so, try to run the engine dry of fuel so the carburetor is empty.
