Henry, Saw your boat heading in at the port Wednesday. We had been out to 8A and points north of there, not a lot of luck, Cuda and sharks. Was looking to see how you did Wednesday for comparison, I hope your report doesnt depress me too much. Tim

Fishing Reports on the "Wile E. Coyote"

This Fishing Report is from my Charter boat the "Wile E. Coyote. Every day's catch varies, and what
works one day, may not the next. I'll try to highlight the days activities, and where we were. I usually try
to post the updates within a day or two.

Thank you Henry.
Henry is the kind of Charter Captain anglers can feel safe with and know that he has all the proper permits and safety gear. He spends his own time to find other Captains that do have or do not have all proper permits etc to charter for Anglers safety and to protect our Charter business's. He also enlightened me on a couple items that I took care of right away. RCG-185 is mine now but will take a few days for Noaa to complete. A list of all my Charter Licenses for Fat Cat Fishing charters is on my site at http://www.fatcatfishingcharters.net/find-charter-guide.php.
Again Thank You to Henry for all the hard work he is doing and the hard to find things he writes about. As Henry says anglers please ask to see permits when chartering a fishing trip. These permits can cost in the thousands and the one's that don't have them are breaking the law. Most important all charter boats at 3 miles MUST have a class two Eperb this is for eveyone's safety. Again Thank You Henry Capt Jay Masters

I thought I heard one of the NASA ships towing the 41009 buoy last night. Not sure why it quit working again, hopefully it will be repaired and back on station soon.

The conditions are a question mark. They are calling for sea's at 2-3, but winds at 15-20 from Wed thru Sat.
If the winds drop down before Sat 2-3 may be possible, and would be good for making a run out for Red
Snapper, but the sea's are forecast to return to 3-5'. They should be westernly, so running close to shore
may be calm, but not many Grouper and Snapper there. I want to go if Sea's and Gas Parteners cooperate.

I kinda thought about that after I uploaded it as I have kids too. I should be able to delete it from my side...Those fish with the Whale shark I do not know but they are big ones. That is a friend of mine who works on an oil rig off Louisiana and sees those WS all the time around the rigs. Sorry did not mean to offend with the pic

Hi Henry, My guess would be that your boat would not be able to be towed on plane. A best bet would be around 8 to 9 knots. In the past when we had a much smaller boat with much less horsepower, the boat being towed trolled all the way in. There have been quite a few "hook ups" and I personally have stopped to land the fish. Although there will be no maneuvering to help land the fish. If you have one hooked up when I arrive I will wait for you to boat the fish, but we don't stop to bottom fish at any structure. Hope this helps

The fun part is getting it dirty. If I help get it dirty, then it's only fair 2 help clean & pay 4 the ride. Cooler weather is coming, the dolphin will return.

We haven't heard anything. Please keep an eye out, but the chances of getting the boat back don't look good. I hear that there have been a lot of problems at Lee Wenner with theft, so everyone be careful if you put in or dock there.

Plastic tank. Fiberglass would deteriorate and I believe that aluminum oxidizes. Not iron oxide rust but oxidation nonetheless. Boats made after 1994 are supposed to have ethanol compatible gas tanks. Do you agree? Do you replace the water separatio…
