Boating in Central Florida | Boat Space Coast | Brevard County & more
Who knows the Panama City Fishing Grounds?
I am looking to take a vacation to Panama City and take my boat along. Does anyone have
experiance with this area for fishing, from the Bay to Offshore? In particular, I would be going
the end of November. I going to try to find "gas buddies" up there that hopefully have the local
knowledge, but I want to be pepared myself.

Henry, sounds like no one around Central Florida has boating experience around Panama City. It has not officially been announced or launched, but BoatPanhandle.com would be a great place to ask the question. It would make for a great first post of the site. Please go ahead and start a discussion when you have the opportunity. Watch for more details over the next 1-2 weeks about the new family of sites we are launching all around Florida!

We haven't heard anything. Please keep an eye out, but the chances of getting the boat back don't look good. I hear that there have been a lot of problems at Lee Wenner with theft, so everyone be careful if you put in or dock there.
Plastic tank. Fiberglass would deteriorate and I believe that aluminum oxidizes. Not iron oxide rust but oxidation nonetheless. Boats made after 1994 are supposed to have ethanol compatible gas tanks. Do you agree? Do you replace the water separatio…
