Have not had any Tiger Shark ski in my shop but try the following,,, remove the ride plate from the bottom of the boat. This will give you access to the mounting bolts for the pump. Check for hoses and other fittings that may go through the hull and disconnect. The pump will have to be removed to get the drive shaft out. I can't say for sure that the drive shaft is threaded into the impeller on your model. You have to determind this once the pump and shaft are out. Hope this helps

The problem is the fuel in the engine more than the fuel in the tank. It can turn to varnish over time. Can you shutoff a valve between the tank and the engine? If so, try to run the engine dry of fuel so the carburetor is empty.
