Multiple sources have informed us that Milliken's Reef and Rusty's is getting boat docks? It would be a great addition to the area. Please comment if you have any details or know when it will happen..

I live and work at Ocean Club Marina and we have not heard anything like that so far. It really would be a great addition to the port. Currently the only real place you can dock and eat is the Port Canaveral Yacht Club. Occasionally Sunrise will let you dock there and go to Grills, but it is typically limited to an hour or so. It will be interesting to see if that is true.

I am going to be out in that area tomorrow. (The wife and I love getting fresh fish from Seafood Atlantic!!) I will stop by Milliken's and inquire to see about the possibility of docks (Rusty's, too). I thought that Sunrise allowed docking for drinks and food??

Ret has the plan for the docks at Rusty's and it is gonna be awesome.. They are basically filling in (with decking) where the slips are now, adding an outside Tiki and I believe 4 slots for boats that want to come in and eat.. At Millikens on the other hand, I was told that they are as far out as they can go..

Any ETAs on these? It would be great to have them ready for this season! Thanks...

Talked to Ret on Sunday, doesn't know when construction will start..

Great news for local boaters.. Milliken's Reef will soon have transient docks and Rusty's has opened up a good number of docks. They plan to build a large outdoor decking with the docks.

I was at Milliken's yesterday and asked the server about docks, didn't mention anything about upcoming construction of docks just said west of millikens' we can tie up! asked if future docks coming, said he didn't know! best is to place a call! would be nice! save me the traffic via car on A1A! from Melbourne! rather navigate! indeed.

Yes, I don't think all the employees know about it yet...

I have some fresh water boating friends in Orlando.I will pass your original post to them. In case they left the local area. Which is probably the case. Others should do the same, maybe we can cover the state at least. good luck, Rob

We haven't heard anything. Please keep an eye out, but the chances of getting the boat back don't look good. I hear that there have been a lot of problems at Lee Wenner with theft, so everyone be careful if you put in or dock there.

Plastic tank. Fiberglass would deteriorate and I believe that aluminum oxidizes. Not iron oxide rust but oxidation nonetheless. Boats made after 1994 are supposed to have ethanol compatible gas tanks. Do you agree? Do you replace the water separatio…

Henry, Saw your boat heading in at the port Wednesday. We had been out to 8A and points north of there, not a lot of luck, Cuda and sharks. Was looking to see how you did Wednesday for comparison, I hope your report doesnt depress me too much. Tim
